We offer a unique and diverse selection of workshops that range from outdoor skills to communication skills. While each workshop is unique, we strive to be inclusive and host workshops that will meet your needs.
In order to keep our workshops accessible, Restorative Adventures does not take a part of the fixed cost. We accept donations, gifts, and trades. These help us to continue to offer and promote meaningful and affordable events. For some event we will have to charge fees for costs of materials, space, and instructors. We have available work trade and scholarship possibilities if you are interested and cannot afford to pay.
Village Model Workshops
The Village Model is inspired by the Art of Mentoring and the 8 Shields Institute. These workshops are open to all ages and based on the concept that thrive when we have youth as well as elders interacting. While some workshops are limited to certain ages or genders due to the nature of the event, we strive to include a diverse group of people so as enrich the experience.
“We can really come to life with the curiosity of a child and the wisdom of an elder.”

NVC Practice Group Every 1st & 3rd Tuesday at 67:30pm
Tuesday night Learning and Practice is for anyone wishing to improve their communication skills by practicing the skills of Nonviolent Communication. We will learn simple, effective tools that facilitate cooperation and satisfaction in our communication, and transform patterns of thinking that lead to reactivity and anger.
This course provides participants with the opportunity to explore their own communication styles, and develop skills based on compassion as the motivation. These tools can open new doors to empathic connection and action.
